Guildford: Have you heard about The Boring Burger? It’s tucked away in an alley, but it’s getting a lot of buzz. People are raving about it, and even critics are impressed.

This place calls itself a fine dining burger spot with a street food vibe. Their menu is short but oh-so-sweet. Everything is fresh and handmade, so you know it’s good.

They’ve made it to the finals of the National Burger Awards. That’s a big deal! Only the best burgers are in the running, and The Boring Burger is the only one from Surrey.

Jamie, one of the owners, shared how they’ve been trying to get into this competition for three years. They were a reserve finalist last year but didn’t get to compete. Now, they’re finally in, and it means a lot to them.

The competition will be intense. Chefs will face off in a live cooking showdown. They’ll whip up the same burger that got them to the finals and tackle a technical challenge too.

Their signature dish, The Boring Burger, features a juicy 110g patty, dirty sauce, dill pickle, iceberg lettuce, bacon, and American cheese—all for just £11. Sounds tasty, right?

Winners will be picked by a panel of expert judges. Genna Ash-Brown, the editor of Dine Out magazine, is excited about the event. She says it’s all about celebrating the best British burgers.

If you want to try it, head to Chapel Street, right next to Cote and Giggling Squid. You can also order through Deliveroo.

Jamie will have to wait until February 11 to find out if they win. Fingers crossed for them!
