A teenager faces charges following the tragic death of Robert McNally in Paisley during a disturbance
Paisley: A teenager has been charged after a young man died. Robert McNally, just 21, lost his life during a disturbance.
Emergency services rushed to the scene on Maree Road. They arrived around 4:15 PM on Saturday, January 18. Sadly, Robert was found seriously injured and pronounced dead at the scene. His family has been notified.
A 19-year-old man was taken to the hospital for treatment. He was later discharged and arrested. He’s set to appear in Paisley Sheriff Court soon.
Detective Inspector Euan McMillan expressed condolences to Robert’s family. He reassured the public that there’s no ongoing risk. Police will maintain a presence in the area.
