Richmond: A heartbreaking story unfolded in court. Oliver White, the manager of a jewellers, took his own life after a robbery. This robbery involved over £1.38 million worth of watches.

The court learned that Oliver was tied up during the heist. Two men, Junior Kunu and Mannix Pedro, are facing charges related to this crime. They allegedly conspired to rob the shop on May 25 last year.

Prosecutor Edward Brown shared that the robbery had a tragic aftermath. Just a day later, Oliver took his own life, directly linked to the robbery’s stress.

Kunu was the one who entered the shop, while Pedro was involved in planning the crime. They used a stolen Audi as one of their getaway cars.

Two other men, Michael Ashman and Kyle Bowrage, are also believed to be part of this conspiracy but have fled the country. The prosecution revealed that Oliver was first contacted by the robbers on Instagram months before the incident.

Just days before the robbery, three men visited the shop under the pretense of buying watches. This visit was actually a reconnaissance mission for the robbery. Sadly, none of the stolen watches have been found.

After Oliver’s death, his family expressed their devastation. They said he was traumatized and unable to speak after the robbery. They described him as a beautiful, funny, and loyal person who brought joy to everyone around him.

Kunu and Pedro deny the charges, and the trial is still ongoing.
