London: A man has died after a shocking incident at Waterloo Station. Ian Airlie, 48, was found dead at his home in Greenwich on October 10. His family told police he had been pushed down an escalator on September 15.

After the fall, Ian spoke to security at the station. He mentioned falling into a woman who also went down with him. Later, he chatted with a woman on a bus from North Greenwich. She helped him with a tissue since he was bleeding from his eye.

Police are asking anyone who saw what happened to come forward. Ian was wearing a black t-shirt and light grey joggers. He had a turquoise and grey rucksack and a medium black suitcase with him.

Detective Inspector Chris Rogers is leading the investigation. He expressed how tragic Ian’s death is and how his family is heartbroken. They want answers about what happened that day.

Even small bits of information could help, so police are urging anyone with details to reach out. A post-mortem exam was inconclusive, and they’re waiting for more test results. If you know anything, call 101 or Crimestoppers at 0800 555 1111.
