Man Charged with Murder After 31-Year-Old Woman Found Dead in Croydon

Croydon: A man is in serious trouble after a woman, 31, was found dead. The police got a call about an unresponsive woman on Bensham Lane. They arrived around 7 PM on January 20. Sadly, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

The woman has been identified as Jamelatu Tsiwah. A post-mortem revealed she died from neck compression. Larry Nimoh, 21, has been charged with murder and attempted murder. He was arrested on January 22 and is set to appear in court soon.

The police are supporting Jamelatu’s family during this tough time. They’ve assured the community that there’s no wider threat. Detective Chief Inspector Alex Gammampila is leading the investigation. He expressed gratitude for the community’s support and urged anyone with information to come forward.
