A Cumbernauld woman is fed up after her dog nearly stepped on broken glass during a walk, raising concerns for local safety.
She spotted a lot of smashed bottles in Cairntoul Court. One time, her pup almost stepped on some sharp glass. That’s just too dangerous!
Cathy shared her frustration on the Cumbernauld Community Page. She asked, “What’s wrong with people?” It’s a valid question.
She mentioned more broken bottles on the path and stairs. She only had one poo bag left, so she could only pick up a bit.
Cathy is not just worried about her dog. She cares about all the other dog walkers and kids playing nearby.
After her post, locals chimed in with their own complaints. One person said people don’t care about their community anymore.
Another added that the area is filthy, which is why there’s a rat problem. It’s sad to see the community like this.
