This site is run by the USA government National Institute for Health as a method of increasing knowledge and understanding of diabetes through effective communication. Lots of really good information.
National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE)
NICE works on behalf of the National Health Service and the people who use it to make recommendations on treatments and care using the best available evidence. Go to the site and search using “diabetes” to get their current recommendations.

This NHS document lays out a ten year plan for the improvement of diabetes services and diabetes care across England and Wales.

Best Treatments
This a joint NHS – Clinical Evidence (British Medical Journal) advice service that can be relied upon to be fully evidence based. It offers a service on many conditions including diabetes. The doctors’ version can be accessed through the direct Clinical evidence link.
